Most of women would love to get a gadget as a gift, but this maybe a little too much for the woman that you barely know or you’re not into serious relationships with. Consumer electronics may be a perfect gift for your wife, but make sure you’re giving her something for her use only, not a thing that whole family is going to use. You wife as well as your mother and your mother-in-low will enjoy a new cell phone or netbook. Also it will be great if you purchase for your women a gadget that is in some pretty bright colour, like white, red or pink. Of course if you’re sure that your wife or mother don’t hate that particular colour or don’t prefer plain black electronics.

Beauty gadgets

Another idea for a gift for your girlfriend or wife is beauty related gadgets. Examples of good beauty related gadgets to be given are illuminated mirrors, blow-dryers, curling tongs, heated rollers, hair straighteners etc. If you don’t know what exactly your girlfriend would like to have, buy her a hair styling set. It contains a lot of hair tools and she will definitely find something useful for herself. If you decided to buy some particular tool, it might be not bad idea as well. Most of women are happy to experiment with their hairstyles and will be happy to try out new tool.

Perfumery products and make-up

The most widespread and desirable gift for women is perfume or make-up. Still those are the most complicated items to pick, because they depend on personal taste and style very much. Still there is couple of basic recommendations. Buy a palette. Let it be eye shadow, lip gloss or blush palette. In this case you are avoiding a situation, when a woman may hate your gift as palette contains a lot of different colours and there definitely will be some suitable for every woman’s taste. Another good idea is to buy neutral eye shadows that are useful for every skin and eye color, black mascara, which is suitable for every woman, red lipstick, which is timeless classic and every female needs one. Buying a perfume can be a lot trickier, as there is no universal rule to choose a scent perfect for everyone. To find that perfect fragrance for your woman you may write down names of perfumes that she owns and take this note to a shop. Shop-assistants will be able to assume some scents that you girlfriend, wife or mother would enjoy.

Gift certificates

If there are no possibility to figure out what perfumes your woman already owns and if you’re bad with guessing her taste in make-up the best way for you may be buying a gift certificate for certain store. This way she will pick up products that she really likes and needs and you won’t be in an uncomfortable situation of buying items she doesn’t need at all. Still idea with certificates can be impersonal and it is in some way almost the same as giving plain money. And giving money is always a bad decision as it shows no interest and affection.

Flowers

Another most desirable gift for the 8th of March is flowers. This is a perfect gift for your fellow women, female friends and colleagues. It is personal and at the same time modest and everyone will enjoy it. Your mother, girlfriend or wife would expect some flowers on this day, because in Ukraine and other post-soviet countries there is an old tradition to give your beloved women beautiful flowers on International Women’s Day. Flowers may be a gift itself or a pleasant addition to a main gift.

A lot of women will be happy to receive items which can be used in their daily household routine. Such items as aprons, potholders, pretty storage boxes, small appliances or home textiles may be amazing gift for your colleagues, your mother or girlfriend, or wife or even mother-in-law.
